1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Mochi Learning, you (the parent or guardian) agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your child. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. What Mochi Learning Is

Mochi Learning is a web-based Mandarin Chinese learning platform for children ages 8–11. It includes interactive lessons, quizzes, AI-generated storybooks, printable worksheets, and progress tracking.

3. Account Responsibilities

• A parent or guardian must create the account and provide accurate information
• You are responsible for keeping your child's login credentials secure
• Each account is intended for one child

4. AI-Generated Content

Mochi Learning uses artificial intelligence to create personalized stories and illustrations for your child:

• Stories are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI
• Illustrations are generated by OpenAI's DALL-E 3
• Audio narration is generated by Microsoft's Edge TTS

While we carefully design the prompts and guidelines for this content, AI-generated material may occasionally contain errors, unexpected results, or inaccuracies. We encourage parents to review storybook content with their child, especially for younger learners.

5. Content Ownership

• Lesson content and curriculum belong to Mochi Learning
• AI-generated stories and illustrations created for your child's account are for personal, non-commercial use
• Content submitted by users (such as audio discovery reports) may be used to improve the service

6. Acceptable Use

When using Mochi Learning, please:

• Use the service for its intended educational purpose
• Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Do not attempt to misuse the AI content generation features

7. Service Availability

We do our best to keep Mochi Learning running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance or updates.

8. Limitation of Liability

Mochi Learning is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Interruptions in service availability
• Decisions made based on content within the app

9. Account Termination

• You may delete your child's account at any time by emailing us
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, we will delete your child's data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify the parent email address on file. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
